New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

No its fine, I'm just all over the place with how to refer to it when I'm talking to people, was so used to just saying 'Goodison'.
I love 'our ground' 🤣

'Our ground' is simple and perfect.

Try saying The Hill Dickinson in a conversation, just doesn't sound right when referring to our stadium.

Whatever feels best for you though.

Near the ground I've used the parking lay-bys literally opposite the northern entrance or by the BM pub. Lot of people park in Walter St and wander across too.

If you can walk from Princes Dock then that's not too far either. If you want to give the dog a break you could go to the Stanley Lock Flight for a bit of greenery and there's a park a little further up, both off Gt Homer St.
Thanks for the info, was heading for Walter St carpark but found loads of on street spaces down Walter st itself today. Stadium looked fab and our dog behaved herself!!

I'll never recognise that name or use it.

I'm obviously aware that over time there'll be an Evertonisation of the stadium.

However, why have the club not learned the lessons from City and Arsenall's moves and moved to avoid that? THAT is the question.

It could be suggested that they dont want Hill Dickinson to have any sort of competition for recognition early in the contract with them and they've laid off using our name around the ground. Maybe more revenue came from doing that.

Whatever the reason it wasn't the right thing to do. Most Everton supporters are disappointed this stadium lacks an Everton presence - barring those out of the way badges. It's Everton fans they should be more concerned about not a commercial partner.

You dont think most Everton fans are disgruntled with the amount of Hill Dickinson signage there is and almost zero Everton stuff?

The only saving grace is that the lettering for Hill Dickinson is smaller than it is for Everton.

However, the whole idea surely is to get some Everton identity into the stadium given that there's none that represents us on the exterior of the stadium, apart from some badges on the outer most of two stands?

The club are bending over backwards for a no mark law firm and handing over a £800M stadium to them for the sake of about £4M a year.

Here's another thing that gets on my tits about these ambulance chasers: why is the 'stadium' part of Hill Dickinson Stadium almost there as an after thought with narrower lettering?

Those corporate rats would have just Hill Dickinson if they could.

The tail wagging the dog isn't in it.

I utterly despise what they've had done for them by Everton for a few quid.

I still call it Bramley Moore., but then again I still call Manchester Airport ,Ringway airport. I dont like change too much.
Ringway Airport officially became Manchester Airport in June 1954, though it had been known locally as Ringway since opening in 1938 and briefly served as RAF Ringway during WWII before resuming civilian operations, with the name change reflecting its growing importance before later becoming "Manchester International Airport" in 1975.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Does anyone have any figures with regard how much we are making per match day on the stadium as opposed to goodison. After all that was the whole point in moving.

There's a video on YouTube with industry commercial experts from the summer that projected our club commercial income will rise from about £26M per season to £35M-£40M per season. That'll just be from a comparison of cash taken in from PL games and not include any other events the stadium hosts.

It'll be pretty substantial in percentage terms.
