It’s not great but I’ve watched Everton teams in recent years with front threes of Gray Maupay Townsend, or Harrison Lindstrom and Doucoure in an attacking line. Rondon upfront, Chermiti getting minutes, Simms coming on.

i’d take this group even with KDH and Ndiaye missing over any of that lot. There’s more than enough in Dibling Barry Grealish Alcaraz to trouble teams.
Dibling is starting his third match for us and Barry and Alcaraz are as crap as anything you listed above for me.

Will have to agree to disagree. I think Barry is doing much better and Alcaraz is a cut above most of those players.

Grealish and Dibling on the flanks are the type of attacking options we could only have wished for in previous seasons. We can’t now play them down as no different than some of the worst attacks in Everton’s PL history.

Much better at what? It's not scoring goals.

You could put him next to Rondon, Maupay or any other useless striker we have had.

Alcaraz has been useless for a while.

Yes, the wingers are alright.

Well when he first arrived he was all over the place. Now his touch is a lot better, hold up play is better, and his movement to get on the end of chances is better. He could be sat here on 4or 5 pl goals with some better finishing/luck. If we stick with him I think he’ll become a decent forward.

I’d have Alcaraz in the team every day of the week over Harrison Lindstrom McNeil and Doucoure.

He's done nothing to impress me yet unfortunately.

I don't think I'd have Alcaraz over Doucoure this year.

I don't think there's many now who'd have Barry over DCL.

Yes, the wingers are better than Harrison, Lidstrom, and McNeill. I just don't think we are dramatically better than last year.

KDH and Ndiaye are BIG misses. When they're in the side as well, it's undoubtedly much better than the last few years. With both of them missing, it's not really.

Even if I did agree with any of this, which I don’t, none of this means we can’t win v Forest though which my original post was in response to for those claiming we won’t be scoring and therefore not getting a result.

We’d have surrendered every single game for the last 4 seasons if we just looked at the front four and went ‘ah well not many goals there can’t expect a result’

We can win.

I don't think our first 11 will be better than theirs but we can definitely win.
