Personally I hope for two additions but if its one permanent at either RB or LB and two loans on whatever fullback is not covered and at Striker, ill live. January is often inflated and the club did have a big outlay in the Summer. I think the loan market should be far more bustling considering its a WC year than usual. But I would really only use the loan market at striker as I don't want the club rushing into filling that position, or pay the 25% tax that comes with doing business in the winter. At the position with the biggest price inflation to begin with.
I would second though maybe looking at CDM now as we'd have some breathing room with Gueye still in the side. We may be able to buy someone a little rawer with the hopes of embedding later if we do it now oppose to the summer.
Gana would be replaced by Iroegbunam. I wouldnt say either is a CDM as they both go to the ball rather than hold a 6 position to anchor the midfield.
As you suggest, players can be more expensive in January. Beto, McNeil and Patterson should be moved on.
A right back who is either top class or has superstar potential is needed - we need 2 right backs and we have to at least bring in one.
arsenal have eze saka martinelli trossard madueke nwaneri and that wonderkid to all play on the wing
why theyd want to spend more money on ndiaye when they can’t seem to keep their centre backs fit, or get a consistent goal scorer in is beyond me
Eze, Saka & Madueke are their main 3
Trossard - been linked with a move end of the season when he'll have a year on his deal
Martinelli - Been mentioned as one who may be sold (ive always thought hes underrated).
Nwaneri - rumoured as someone who could benefit with a couple of seasons loans soon. Massive drop off in mins from last season.
I dont see us selling Ndiaye in January.
I also think Arteta will want to keep his squad together until the summer.
However, if there was ever a world where Arsenal offered us Nwaneri &/or Lewis-Skelly as part of a deal for Ndiaye...you'd have to take it.
