2025/26 Merlin Röhl

I’m not sure having one central midfielder with a bit of physicality who you occasionally give a run out as a sub counts as an obsession does it?
Fellaini, Soucek, Rohl.

There's a pattern there if you look up and see these massive giants smiling down at you.

It's definitely a preference.

Fellaini and soucek were good players for him? If rohl turns out as good for us as Fellaini I won’t be complaining that he’s too tall. At the moment I just don’t think you can really add rohl to the other 2, like I said, having one midfielder over 6ft isn’t exactly weird or unique and we haven’t even given him a start yet.

back fit just when we need him most, hope he can stay fit

Would be great if at some point we could line up with him and Iro in midfield and Alcaraz at 10, so garner can play rb

Just back from injury, played out of his usual position and only got 20 minutes against the best side in the country at the moment.

The desperation to write a player off and to slate them at every opportunity is tiresome.
If he keeps his fitness in check then over the next four games we should see much more performance time from him allowing us to get a better guage on him.

I'm reading some sensible posts today.
No jumping on, no jumping off..

"Allowing us to get a better gauge on him" 👍

Yes. According to some on here this time last week his hernia was bulging out of him like a bowling ball, so its been a Christmas miracle for them.

Still have all the faith he will turn into a very good player for us, this season was always going to be one where he adapts to the league and physicality, he was always bound to pick up knocks.

Believe he has all the physical and technical attributes to be a success here, but he needs a run of games and he needs a clear bill of health.

I'm looking forward to watching him develop, and he will end up being a good signing imo.
