A point would be acceptable and you can say that when you're on a good run.

A win would be hugely significant in the context of the recent away wins and would be huge for the whole club.

It shouldnt be really, but it absolutely would. They don't have to force anything, but be compact and play with intent.

They play Atalanta away on Tuesday night which helps but they have a huge squad.
 

Massive but tough game on Saturday, but no bigger incentive than if we win we will be sitting in 4th place come Saturday evening.

Glad they do not have Caicedo playing!

Looking at the next 4 games over this winter period.... if we can get 6-7 points (kids jumping up and down here), then this would be a very good output. Half the season gone and sitting on 30ish points and moving into a very decent run of games throughout January!

This would keep us in that European hunt definitely.
 
I was supposed to add to the above, although we always know when Everton have the incentive or of the possibility of achieving something good we often fall short.

I am hoping that the mentality of the players and Moyes part deux is different this time.
 
No reason we can’t go and win this. They’re missing Caicedo and Delap. We perform anything like we have in the four wins recently then there’s no reason we can’t get a result.

Just no tinkering with the midfield Moyes!

May be worth taking on a few extra hours over the Christmas period.... 😉
 
could see gana in for alcaraz which would be a shame for charlie but i could understand it

if we do do that id still like to hope we could keep KDH on the left side of central midfield, garner deeper, rather than pushing him up into a 10

saying we would lose if we get one of the best ball winners in the prem back in the side

i do think he needs to earn his place back though. we've been in great form since but that red could have really cost us, could have conceivably lost all 4 games and be sitting in 17th right now
