I think the last sentence is wrong simply because we've seen both Forest and Sunderland add so many players and do well from it.
Branthwaite & Rohl having so many injuries now is a concern and there should be a sensible case for selling both if the 'right' bids came in.
Pickford is a very difficult one. A couple of years ago i would have sold him for a big fee and signed Verbruggen (who ended up going to Brighton) at under £20mil.
Now, Pickford is probably the leagues best keeper or around that level. He's also a talisman really and so how to quantify that into a value - which I dont see anyone paying anyway.
Barry, Armstrong, Aznou and Dibling we can develop and their values should increase so we shouldnt sell them of course.
KDH & Garner playing centrally as a pairing (together with another) is so well balanced that you wouldnt want to break them up - with my caveat that KDH (or even Garner) playing as a 10 would mean he should be sold.
I think the likes of Mykolenko, McNeil, Patterson, Gana, Coleman, Beto will be the ideal ones to move on for fees and to remove wages from the books.
I also wonder why we have so many goalkeepers
Dibling has been signed as a future star to develop. Everton could have sold Ndiaye to Inter Milan for £40mil last summer which would have been just as mad.
These players can be the catalysts for a new Everton. Just as hopefully Aznou and Armstrong will be as well.
