Toffee web betting site.

I've been posting on various Everton sites for years, but sadly one of them TW is now basically a betting site. I don't bet, I have no problems with people who do, but to turn a football fan site into a betting shop is too much. Isn't a crack down on betting advertising in football coming? Thank God for alternatives. Coyb.
Hi Paul.

Do you have a brother called Juan?

As has been mentioned, Lyndon sold it so was probably bought by the internet version of house flippers that then realized there's no real money in it (unless, like Lyndon, you got in at the ground level and didn't manage to pop your own piece of the internet bubble), so panicked and found the "IDK WTAF I'm doing" bottom of the barrell.

Just a guess, though.

Its independence drew traffic because there was nothing parallel being pushed, now the content is less and the gambling associates are permanent prominent it'll drive away the majority of the traffic it had earned. All things evolve, wsag and kipper had their moments.

Lol, what a mission statement.

Run into the ground.

Sad to see, many of the original users of this site started out on TW.

Ive become cynical about fan led media these days to be honest, the days of mucking about and building something genuinely fan led for a community are gone, even if sites are still framed that way, the value of media as a commodity and temptation to build traffic - to sell sites and "followers/members" on, etc takes over and motivation changes and you end up with something like this.

TW i feel will be canary in the mine.

We will probably see more of this as betting sites try and pivot in exposure with the ban coming on front of shirt sponsors.

Got a close relative severely addicted to gambling who ruined not only his life, but dragged others into his mess by stealing thousands off of them and leaving them to pick up the bills. I wouldn't go anywhere near that horrific website after taking one quick glance at it a second ago - awful.
It's terrible. It used to be a genuine hub of Everton coverage. I haven't consulted it for about 12 months, and that mess of a webpage encouraging addiction is a disgrace now.

Seems to me that the soul of it left with Lyndon Lloyd.

Huh - that's pretty blatant ! AI articles soon enough you'd think.

I liked Lyndons articles and some of the fan contributions. The comments sections I just started to ignore, same old people, same old opinions.

Live forum could be funny though.

It was sold;
I hope Michael sticks with TW, but the lad writing most of their articles, Anjishnu Roy, is a Man Utd supporting content manager from Indian firm sportzinteractive.net or a subsidiary. They're no longer Everton fan owned, or run.
