Scoring in the Dutch league is like scoring in a brothel. Not saying he isn't good, but that metric has been misleading many times. Jozy Altidore ripped that league apart for AZ and we all know how his time at Sunderland went.

He was very highly rated underage at Spurs.

He’s an embarrassment. An experienced football manager getting pushed around by one of his 40 year old finished players. Just seen some of his press conference and all he did was glaze Ronaldo and say the sending off was harsh, said they want to win their next game “for him”. He would’ve been hand picked by Ronaldo to be their manager, because he’s so weak and embarrassingly starstruck that he will allow Ronaldo to run the show and pick himself every game. Thankfully they aren’t any sort of a threat to the tournament while those two clowns are anywhere near the setup.

Walked out of a wedding that day and straight into a pub across the road from the Church somewhere in rural Tipp (weirdly), cause it went on to long and ate into the match start!

Sometimes a manager has to do that - it's just recognising realities that if there's an ex-supertar in the ranks who has still massive status among the rest of the squad then you dont shoot yourself in the foot by treating rtrhem like any other player.

It's basically why Moyes fell on his face at United and cratered them: he failed to recognise those realities.

Really he was a big Shamrock Rovers fans growing up and went to a lot of the LOI games mate, some of his family are in the Dublin Supporters Club and maintain he's a blue.
