When will fans earn respect?

Fans could show the power they have by boycotting games. One game by each club with no fans in the ground would be a massive wake up call to the powers that be. If every club did on the same weekend changes would surely be made. The chances of this happening right now are pretty much zero.
It sounds good and would be great to see, just to shove it up their ass.
But they know fans will be back in the grounds very quickly.

You cant win, you stay away and you have to watch an empty stadium game.

They will still make the money globally with or without fans on the seats.

They won this war before we woke up to it.

I wonder how many match going fans shoot themselves in the foot by also handing out cash to tv companies to watch and sponsor competing clubs. Lots i suspect.

They could all start helping themselves and the rest of us who have seen our sport utterly ruined, by ditching tv subscriptions.
you can still go the game
and get a dodgy stick

so then your only getting bumped by everton and not both ;)

Never. They don’t care about us

Premier League has reached a point now were the club's aren't particularly arsed about 'legacy' fans as they can re-sell any season ticket, game by game, for far greater return from the tourist fan and the associated 'experience' packages.
The corporate touting of tickets and packages has become the norm.
Those who've been going for 10,20,30 and more years are an afterthought to any discussion.

Always been this way. I for one am extremely looking forward to an 8pm Saturday kick off just before Xmas.

It'll be some night under the lights just before Xmas.
One or two pints might be imbibed in the festive spirit?

Would love to do these as long as it doesn't help the rs - though hopefully they'll be out of contention by then, and we're in the running for top 6.

We sold our rights down the river when we became bedazzled by the prospect of watching live footy on TV. Even with a dodgy stick, you are seeing the adverts/being influenced/lining'their' pockets. Those old f**ts at the FA were right all along!

…..it’s established now that schedule of games changes. With knock-out competitions and TV monies dictating changes, I don’t believe it’s going to change.

What should change is clubs returning monies to fans who have purchased tickets for games on a given date that are subsequently changed. I just don’t get how that isn’t a given. I know there are additional travel related overheads but the clubs should do their bit.

Think you have to accept that if you want billionaires owning your club you are going to have to see yourself as a consumer. They are here for the money and the status not to give you respect.

The more games that tv show the more money available.

I'm probably one of a tiny minority but the game being moved back to Saturday is a massive bonus for me. I wouldn't have been able to make a Sunday match due to family commitments. The contempt that the games governing body holds the fans in makes me sick but in this canse its a win for me!
