Bossed them for 30 mins , then a missed chance suddenly gives Sunderland all the momentum,Moyes just watched the next 55 mins and did nothing to alter it
No, they were comparing us to others they'd seen in mid-table, not to their own teams. That's because those teams are absolutely pants
Go back and freeze it just after he first gets the ball. Pass on, simple square, and no question of offside.People blaming Alcaraz but there was no pass on. Awful supporting run..
I posted mid second half how Sunderland had played the conditions so much better than we had. We were not good after half time but they scored via a bad deflection from a liability of a centre half, aside from that they huffed and puffed without creating anything material and we had at least two break away opportunities that the players, not the manager, should have done much, much better with. Re: the ‘no adaptation’ point, did we spend the first 30-mins punting it long? No, I didn’t think so.Its the lack of anything once that 30 minutes is over, there's no adaptation of tactics, no subs, nothing just long punts to non effective strikers
Nothing to do with confidence. Nobody has a clue what to do . There isnt any tactic apart from pumping a long ball upfront. Never seen a more crap team . Its back to the dark times of Lampard and Co.
It might be worseIf Moyes selects that same team on Saturday he may as well not come out of the tunnel.
You tried to b play after 10 pints?Poor lad must be exhausted from moving a bit up and down the left touchline once a week
KDH was good in the first half. In the second he had a few decent moments, but consistently failed to get the weight of his passes correct. You mean apart from being consistently better than KDH ?
Absolute nonsense.
How do you explain playing KDH every single game?
McNeil sub?
Gana bulletproof
Moyes is trying to get fired or what?
What's that in response to?Beto done nothing.
A disappointing result really. But I think we’re resigned to a really boring season. No chance of flirting with relegation, but it would be optimistic (but not impossible mind you) to see us push for the higher European places. What I wouldn’t have given for a boring season after the last few we’ve had. But somehow, boring doesn’t seem much fun.
