Tarkowski was worryingly poor again tonight, Keane was very solid again. I think we really have to play Garner at right back until January and get O'Brien alongside Keane. Waiting until the 78th minute to change things up was very poor management, as was Bringing McNeil on for Gueye. The centre forward problem is really serious now, Barry looked close to tears when he was taken off, he just doesn't seem to be happy here at the moment.

Went with Keane as MOTM, once again a solid display, the high spot of the game though, that wonderful goal from Ndiaye.

agree

A disappointing result really. But I think we’re resigned to a really boring season. No chance of flirting with relegation, but it would be optimistic (but not impossible mind you) to see us push for the higher European places. What I wouldn’t have given for a boring season after the last few we’ve had. But somehow, boring doesn’t seem much fun.

Wouldn't even know where to start with that crap show.

O'Brien absolutely awful, Tarkwoski even worse, Garner doing his ghost impression, Barry awful, Beto not much better and KDH dreadful.

Main culprit, Moyes. Setting us up as if we're playing prime Brazil isn't acceptable. His team selection was dreadful, his choice of subs and when they came on was dreadful.

Woeful management and it's been going on since Wolves away on the league cup. His arrogance of constantly picking the same team will be his undoing.

Yes, I did but you still didn’t answer my question. Blame the the manager all you want. A lad skies it from 2.5 yards out to make it 2-zip in a first 30 mins we totally, totally dominated. Managers fault probably. His selection and system was so bad we should have been 3-up after 25 mins.
It was his tactics and man management after that miss that is pissing a lot of us off. Barry converts that sitter, we win comfortably. But we could all see the implosion after he missed, even Moyes, but he made mistake after mistake -- bringing on Beto and McNeil was simply the start of a long list.

We play old fashioned kick and rush while we have players like Ndiaye and Grealish...

With Myko, Tark, Keane and OBrien as a back four we are clueless in possession. Having Gana Gueye in front of those doesnt help as well (as useful as he is defensively). So we use the long ball but we have wingers and an AM who lose their effectiveness playing like that.

Moyes looks done to me. No idea in gameplan, no ideas when the match evolves. His subs were terrible. How can you bring on McNeill when you are counterattacking? He has no pace at all.

Barry should have put that chance away, 100%. No excuses. But I think Moyes should stop substituting/changing strikers. This way he is killing both their confidence. Just pick one and let that one play a few matches from start to (ar least almost) end.

100%. whenever we lose momentum in a match we never seem to get it back. We resort to hoofball whenever we come under pressure. We have no outball, someone to get a hold of it and calm it down and regain momentum. All of these things should be drilled into the players on the training ground. It’s conference league tactics.
This is it 💯

We got away with that after a wonderful first 25 mins. Problems up top are obvious, one of them needs to start scoring and get some confidence.

Think Alcaraz is coming on and making a difference, as is iroegbunam. After 60 mins, something had to change if we wanted to push for the win. Sadly, Moyes seemingly wont react to what’s going on.

Not fooled by that, it’s disjointed, slow, predictable and aimless and we overly rely on individual brilliance which kept Dyche here longer than he should of been.

It’s all there to see despite what the manager lies about or the clubs lackeys in the press and fan base try to gaslight people with. F off.
Largely agree. I'm not advocating sacking Moyes or anything, but he is doing a lot of the same wrong things Dyche did. Picks the same team and same tactics every match, can't change anything in the game aside for like for like subs which he usualy waits too long on. He relies on individual brilliance to score goals and there is no real patterns of play except get it to Grealish and Ndiaye and hope for the best.

He needs to take a step back and look at what he's been doing, and why that hasn't been working.

My worry is that getting a point at Sunderland who are doing well right now, will reinforce what he's been doing.

Shocking performance. Believe it or not, I really try not to go in on Moyes, despite being honest that I don’t like him, but it’s stuff like that that causes it.

He has very much reverted to type. Like for like substitutions only. Can't change his beloved shape, that never works anyway. I feel like I've been watching the same David Moyes movie for a quarter of a century. We have been huffing and puffing (with moments of quality) to just score the one goal. Then, as soon as the opposition applies the slightest pressure, we start ceding them the entirety of the pitch, basically sitting on our goal line, and then look really panicky and amateur, just kicking the ball up in the air, and anywhere it will go.

Plus, certain players will be allowed to stink the gaff out for a few weeks in a row - KDH, JOB, Tarkowski etc. and they will be judged to a different standard to Alcaraz, who had about 10 minutes to try and force something and made a couple of mistakes, but has done more ro earn us points than KDH has (and I like KDH).

I heard this week that Moyes isn’t impressed with Dibling and thought it was nonsense. But that McNeil sub proves it. McNeil is one of the worst forward players we have ever had, but has also been phoning it in since going down the pecking order, yet he gets given a chance.

He'll probably complete the set by telling us it was a good point next. I try not to say too much on Moyes as we chug along as to criticise him is to the majority of our fanbase, as it has always been, a blasphemy.

He burns my head, and this league is awful, truly awful. Just full of physical teams who have pace and take long throws, and look at the part of the table we are in. He neesa to sort it out.

Rant over.
Beto done nothing.
