Probably not full of confidence as even if he scored on that counter he'd have neen dropped next week.
At least he was there. Expected to change tbe game in ten minutes. Gutless Moyes should have had him on at half time. Moyes attitude is pathetic and weak. We schooled them for 30 mins then it turned around but Davey just watched until it was too late. He is a total wimp

Out of genuine curiousity, what is it with the amount of times players slipped over in the game? A multibillion pound industry dependent on the ability of the players to use their feet and yet they somehow fall over?

Yes, I did but you still didn’t answer my question. Blame the the manager all you want. A lad skies it from 2.5 yards out to make it 2-zip in a first 30 mins we totally, totally dominated. Managers fault probably. His selection and system was so bad we should have been 3-up after 25 mins.

Its the lack of anything once that 30 minutes is over, there's no adaptation of tactics, no subs, nothing just long punts to non effective strikers

You could almost feel the confidence drain out of them with the Barry miss.
Not blaming him, strikers miss chances, but two up and we are cursing.

I'm more fuming with daft lad Tarkowski sticking his foot out for the deflection.
SAF used to go mad at his defenders for doing that. I saw Rio Ferdinand talking about it.

I also thought we were lucky with the handball, I would have wanted a penalty, and the kick in the head, seen them given as well.
Strikers don’t miss chances like that. He is obviously a guy who has come up through the levels too quickly based on his athletic attributes and is being exposed big time.

Just looking at their goal again. Gary Neville actually said something a manager told him about leaving out trailing limbs and sometimes it being better avoiding doing so. Tarkowski absolutely loves it and it's been the cause of so many goals of late.

Totally agree, Sunderland were shocking to start but managed to get back into the game and controlled it, we never seem to be able to lift ourselves out of low points in games, once the rot sets in that’s it for the rest of the game, we have no leaders in midfield who can get their foot on the ball and dictate play, we were truly atrocious tonight and should’ve lost.
100%. whenever we lose momentum in a match we never seem to get it back. We resort to hoofball whenever we come under pressure. We have no outball, someone to get a hold of it and calm it down and regain momentum. All of these things should be drilled into the players on the training ground. It’s conference league tactics.
