Alcaraz is the change I would have made
He must think he's crap in training or something 🙄
People always try to justify when a manager freezes a player out for hard to pin down reasons and usually it’s just the simplest answer that the manager is just not very good at his job. Either Moyes doesn’t get that Alcaraz is good or has some personal issue with him and either way it’s poor management.

This line up is one of those examples of why I personally don't like Moyes as our manager. I can live with a manager being uninventive and slow with team selections (even if it wouldn’t be the way I would like our manager to be), but Moyes is one of those managers that acts like poor players/players in bad form are absolutely untouchable. It drives me mad.

He has, however, always had games where he just seems to get away with it - like against Palace. Let's hope this is one of them 🙏.

I feel like if he is proactive with subs if it’s not working and gets Alcaraz and Röhl on ASAP, we might get something. But what usually happens is the opposition, who are already in front/on top, make subs to strengthen their hand further before Moyes has even made one.
It was always gonna happen - honestly, appointing him was just a backwards move

Esp when we dont have many quality attacking subs to make.

I was hoping for a little bit more change this evening.

KDH playing deeper with Charly starting, Gana being rested or maybe an adjustment at the back.

Good to see Barry starting.

If we play the way we have been with full backs not really crossing the halfway line or offering an over or underlap it will be a long night.
