Beer, revisited

Called in at Wetherspoons this lunchtime, and as I like to try beers I hadn't had before I tried an Effingut Golden Ale. It's a collaboration between Hook Norton & an Indian brewery, with "subtle spice, infused with cardamom & cinnamon". It's not a bad pint but a little too sweet for my taste buds, could be best suited to accompanying an Indian meal.
