2025/26 Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Last player are remember writing off this quickly was Doucoure, who was crap, and before that it was Bernard. This actually has a lot of similarities to Bernard. Do you know what country he played in when we let him go?
I wouldn't use Bernard as your player to compare with, KDH has come and settled straight in, he doesn't even look like a new signing needing a bedding in period.

I think you would definitely see more from him further back, you want him looking at the whole field in front of him, not getting caught so much just looking straight to Jack, which seems to happen playing in a 10 role.

To me this is mostly speculatory and not really in line with that his career has shown to date. And that certainly doesn’t mean you’re wrong. My problem is given the profile of the player and the transfer fee we probably shouldn’t be speculating.

Yeah your right on the whole speculating part, but thats all you can do until you see a different approach..

It doesn't help tho when your midfield aren't confident in the striker in front of them.

We have an abundance of cm's now
So maybe Moyes needs to have like a 60min rule ( at the latest ) to get fresh legs straight in their..

I've said it before but if you'd prefer a different style of 10 to KDH, or want to see him played deeper, totally fair enough.

But if you think he's been *bad* then you are just fundamentally not good at assessing football probably. He's been straight up one of the best in the league at passing the ball into the box. Links play fantastically, great movement, good touch, crisp passing, words hard. Very good set piece delivery too.

His last game was his worst definitely but...so what? He's been a great signing so far, 25m feels like a fair price which isn't something you can say often these days.

Probably a point for a different thread but our use of substitutes is criminal right now. The game has changed in the five sub era and Moyes has not.

Yeah building around a guy Chelsea used as a squad player to beat up on tiny clubs in Eastern Europe and Scandinavia and gladly let leave is surely how we will compete with them and those better than them. It’s just such a poorly conceived plan.

Yes for everyone who is going to bring up KdB I know, save your breath. He’s not KdB.
Chelsea also gladly let KDB and Salah leave

Not saying KDH is the same level before you jump on it, but am saying a club letting a player go is a poor argument for saying they aren't good enough
