2025/26 Iliman Ndiaye

Don't think anyone is to blame for the Beto chance. Ndiyae does exceptionally well to carry it and the pace he puts on the ball is about the only way to get it through to the back post. Any slower and it is cut out

Beto's movement is excellent, reads the intention and makes two movements, to the near post before pulling away. Just couldn't quite sort it out.

Just one of those things
It’s one of those things too often

You’re picking one scenario, I could be wrong as it’s a long time ago, but did the cross for Lineker get deflected away from him, I remember some people saying he should Have punched it in.
It’s also easy to throw a leg than your head. Beto got a touch on it, not saying it’s easy but think he should do better and then had another chance which he dragged wide.

Everyone says play to his strengths and he will score, but he’s missed more of them chances than he’s scored. Offers nothing to the team, we’re stuck with him for now, but he should be out the door asap
To be fair to Lineker he was under pressure from a defender, I don't think the cross was deflected no. Gazza had a similar one against Germany in Euro 96 I seem to recall. My point being that these kind of chances are not as easy as being made out and it's unfair on Beto to use it as a stick to beat him with when there are other more valid reasons and incidents that Beto should be better at/with

He's a fine player and I'm loathe to criticise him, but he doesn't do THAT nearly enough.

The difference between him and a player like, say, Silva is enormous.

People on here have been saying Pep will have the cheque out for him. Not a chance.

He is better than doku and silviniho imo .. by some distance too

He’s not, Pep’s current setup is where wingers go to die. Both of those would be fine players elsewhere same as Grealish is having his best season in eons.

Not a criticism of Ndiaye so much as to say please keep him away from City.
