Feel this needs its own thread.
The amount of serious muscular injuries we pick up on training is not normal and has been an issue going back to about 2008/09. At first it was easy to blame the medical staff, but numerous medical teams have come and gone and the issue has never resolved. Likewise with managers, we can’t blame any specific training methods as it seems to transcend managers as well. The voodoo curse under the floorboards of Goodison theory has also been put to bed this year, with the problem continuing to persist long after leaving. At what point does somebody at the club start to think about investigating the training pitch surfaces?
