New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Last game I saw taxis and cars dropping people off by the Coast bar at bottom of Boundary St. That's as near as you can get , no more than 5/10 mins to the gates. But then your mate would have to go and park up. It's difficult.:(
Every home game there have been loads of cars parked within the controlled area. Are they not checking? Each street from boundary Street North full of parked cars.

The public transport for BMD isn't perfect (yet).... but everyone in the city region can get public transport to the city centre and a good proportion can get to Sandhills using Merseyrail. So, if you're a local, unless you have mobility issues there is no reason to use a car for the new stadium. This was obvious and made clear from the start. Unfortunately some people think it doesn't apply to them.
You'd have to be mad to take your car to BMD, that wasn't my point. I was responding to the more general point the OP made about people's obsession with their cars. For example, I live in one northern city and work in another. If I drive it costs me about £13 in fuel and parking (of course I also have some depreciation and insurance and what have you) and it takes me less than an hour. If I get public transport it takes me 80 minutes, if everything is on time and I make my connection, and it costs £16. I also can't choose precisely when to come and go, which isn't a problem if there are other benefits, but if it's slower, more expensive and more unreliable it's an extra disadvantage. Consequently, I drive to and from work, but not because I'm obsessed with my car, because I value my time and my money. I'd rather get the train but it's a slow, expensive and unreliable mode of transport for my route.

Which is fine if the service is reliable and affordable. A group of 4 in a car is cheaper than 4 rail fares.

I've mainly been getting the train and have had no problems as regards their reliability (even at night matches). The few times I've used the bus has been a waste of time because of cars, and most I've seen have had less than 4 passengers. The point being, if everyone is determined to try to park on top of the place, the transport system can't work. With parking costs, is there that much difference to justify jeopardising the stadium's success?

Before the Moshiri era I remember there being about 2 or 3 busses to town / lime street. Not sure why but all of a sudden there were about ten more popping up besides the soccer busses.

I'm sure they'll find a way to do the same and make it a painless experience getting to and from the ground.

Seat unique are just preparing fans for the future

Clubs will soon be charging £100 quid for just 1 ticket to the game within a few years for the cheapest seats
They sort of are already, if they are charging £60 for a ticket and you have to pay a membership for £30 to stand a chance of getting one. They`ve already pretty much priced me out of going to the game regularly over the season.
