Everton Stadium Parking – Where to Park at Hill Dickinson Stadium

The Saturday match was a nightmare, there are apparently 10 buses on the circuit, but due to traffic they could not get through, took about 90 minutes.

Other games there have been queues, but plenty of buses and we waited about 10 minutes, the journey back was 10 minutes or so.

I am sure it will get better as the bus co and supporters get used to it - mind you the rozzers could do with sorting the traffic flow at Costco.

I have yet to see Police manually controlling the traffic lights, this is needed.

I use YourParkingSpace or JustPark for driveways etc but you need to be quick as the prices rocket, always read the reviews and I aim to be north of Scottie Road as it a bit easier to get away. Not ideal for those with mobility issues and not sure what I'm going to do when I bring my youngest with little legs with me.

Do the buses outside have there own designated bus lane, noticed the inner lane towards town was coned off on Gt Howard st.
It was empty untill just before leeds st then cars were just cutting across ( cones were widely spaced)

It's intended to be a bus lane towards town but it isn't enforced. Cars come out of Love Lane area and can't get across to the middle lane so they use the bus lane. It worked well for one game think it was Mansfield but Villa was gridlock. People were getting off the buses and walking.

Coming up from the midlands and wondering whether its worth looking at getting the ferry over from seacombe - anyone used this on matchday ? What was it like after the match and parking at the terminal?

I’ve parked at love lane and paid £20 for the privilege. A short walk to the ground but you will be stuck in traffic from there all the way to the traffic lights at Leeds street, took us around 40 minutes to get to there last time. Haven’t tried Walter street car park yet, costs £15 and is a lot closer to the stadium - looks absolutely chaotic to get out of though. Unfortunately we don’t have the option to walk much further than that. If Walter street doesn’t work out then we’ll try the train from Sandhills back into town. I was sat there enviously watching all the half empty trains heading into town after the Villa game 😅

Where are the permit only areas?
