Everton Stadium Parking – Where to Park at Hill Dickinson Stadium

With our move to Hill Dickinson Stadium, a lot of Blues (and away fans!) have been asking the same question - where’s the best place to park for Everton matches at the new stadium?

It's asked often in here, and asked constantly in our Facebook Group, like so;

I know we already have a dedicated Everton Stadium Thread, but with 140,000+ replies, some tips (like this from @blulouie) can be lost, so I figured a thread specifically about parking would help fans. This thread should also bring some Everton fans over to the forum who are actively looking, and I can share this thread to those asking.

Now we're a few games in - experiences on parking at the new stadium would be good. Has anyone got any decent knowledge or spotted good parking options near Bramley-Moore Dock?

Drove for the first time on Monday, and while I parked in a quiet spot that was 15 mins walk from the ground, getting away was awful and will have to have a rethink for next time.

For now, it's train and walk from town.

I park at Liverpool One, take the shuttle to and from the ground -£2 each way- or free to old ‘ uns with a bus pass.

Not cheap parking, but secure.

What is the bus journey like after the match?

Is there a bus waiting? How long does it take to get back to L1 Bus Station?

Usually park up at Headbolt Lane and get the train to Sandhills but after the last two games I’m thinking of parking up near Bank Hall and walking. Sandhills after the game seems to be getting worse with much longer waits, the staff at the station seem to think fans are walking to Moorfields and getting the train there meaning it’s already half to three quarters full by the time it gets to Sandhills.

Also would like to know this. Quicker to walk back to LLS station after the game, than waiting and getting on the 919 shuttle?
Can’t comment on Lime Street but did the 929 to Liverpool ONE after the West Ham game. Walking out the stadium to getting to Liverpool ONE was about 30mins.

So, I reckon there’s little difference to walking from a time perspective.

The Saturday match was a nightmare, there are apparently 10 buses on the circuit, but due to traffic they could not get through, took about 90 minutes.

Other games there have been queues, but plenty of buses and we waited about 10 minutes, the journey back was 10 minutes or so.

I am sure it will get better as the bus co and supporters get used to it - mind you the rozzers could do with sorting the traffic flow at Costco.

I use to always walk into town from Goodison rather than get the bus or a taxi. I did that walk in all kinds of weather and found that the built up fume from a poor result or the buzz from a good win helped the energy levels required for the journey. When I get the chance to get over I`ll likely park in town and walk back after the game. I don`t fancy trying to park close to the ground so I have a short walk to the game, only to have to sit in traffic for ages trying to get away after the match.

Thought as much. This weekend could well see a few more trying to jump on buses with the weather prediction.
Looks like the waterproofs will be coming out for me and my little un. Long walk back to LLS in the wet
