Disappointing tonight but the hyperbole is crazy.

We were literally one of the worst run PL clubs, with the worst owners, most negative manager, playing the worst football, with an ageing and poor squad with no depth like 10 months ago.

Clearly squad depth is still a problem, and tonight has been disappointing but let’s not forget where we were incredibly recently.

We were also playing top flight opposition so even with our first 11 we dont have given right to win.

It’s been 6 games with this ‘new squad’ and we are still missing players. Expectations are through the roof already.

In fairness, it’s the senselessness of the defeat tonight that’s galling.

It’s not that we’re incapable of beating Wolves away - because we just did that a couple of weeks ago.

Moyes’ choices let us down. Not squad depth.

Maybe bring them on after the strongest 11 are ahead in the game when fresh legs are needed and no chasing a game.

No guarantee we would be ahead.
Last season alcaraz was seen by many as probably our best player, beto had been awful so we started Barry and we started our 40 million pound winger. They all were poor .
It happens. As I said I wouldn't have changed much more. Buf even when we did we were still poor.
We have improved. But we are still bang average bar maybe 5 players

Yes the tinker man did a very gig job at Roma and they still changed him. Don’t kid yourself if there’s a better option out there and there will be, he will be replaced.
I think it will most likely be in the summer though

We've seen this game like 20 times before in cups. It was fairly predictable even for someone like me who is not good at predictions

7 changes is too many. Especially when all your best players are included in those changes.

Ok. Even when out opponents made 9. They won with them .

I’m as disappointed as anyone for going out tonight but calling for Moyes’ head after 6 games when we’re 10th is being utterly daft

I'm not calling for his head because we are 10th. I'm saying he should be fired because he didn't take the match seriously with his team selection.

Any manager who isn't trying everything they can to win something isn't the right person in charge. If our best team loses, so be it. But resting all our best players and losing is just unacceptable.

Can’t believe people are settling for 10-12th, quite sad really.

People are settling for reserve teams losing to crap sides in cups and "achieving" 12th place. And calling it "progress" having spent 120m quid.

I mean, it's better than bottom three and losing to crap sides in cups, but let's not set the bar too high now...

We are not a top side that can afford to leave our best players on the bench at any time.
