Teams in europe can play 3 games a week including traveling so it's a weaker team than I'd have liked but I'll save the fume till it's over.
But our players clearly need a rest after playing a little over half a game on Saturday and then they have a game in 6 days.

Hope they all have their feet up

Lol again

Been various mentions on here and elsewhere that Ndiaye was carrying a knock from international duty pre Liverpool.

Myko has been struggling with injury.

Gana’s minutes needs to be managed.

Then everyone’s whinging that Dibling doesn’t play or that Alcaraz isn’t getting on.

And now people crying that we shouldn’t be resting these same players that we know have been carrying knocks and should be starting them 3 days after playing.
Stop been sensible.

That’s all fine, and you could well make a case for each change, but my experience of this club and the manager would suggest it’s just a weakened side and giving lower priority to a cup we should try our best to win

It’s like people have a fuzzy memory of our trophy drought and most relevantly our league cup record

I mean we really should have enough to win the game but by god that team lineup hasn't gone down well across the EFC community looking across social media. Lets hope there's no hiccups.
Yes it's a bit weird nobody is sure of the formation he's going to play with the group hes selected.Nice to see Barry get the start but hasnt got the main assist players starting with him which makes his job harder. However the bench is loaded with quality.Think we can win this.

No guarantee we win whatever side we put out though is there .
Will all those slating him now apologise if we go through then ?
There's a difference between going out playing a coherent team where everyone knows their roles and going out because you play a random team with multiple players playing out of position. Of course any team can beat any other but the probability is not the same. A good team usually, but not always, beats a poor team. Likewise a team that is stable, established and where players know the likely movements of their teammates will usually do better than a team where players are playing off the wrong foot, are not in their regular positions and with teammates they have never played with in the formation that the team doesn't usually play in. It's not rocket science.

We all hope this gamble pays off and, if it does, then good for Moyes. If it doesn't, however, he can't hide behind the players, or the referee or the mythical anti-Everton agenda. It'll be squarely on his shoulders.
