2025/26 David Moyes

Thats disgusting that really.

I heard he even slept the night before, an utter joke if you ask me, he should have been preparing for this game since he was a wee nipper in Glasgow.
Ok, you think hunting down and sorting match day tickets for McCoist was more important than giving the last 35 minutes of time to his own team in the dressing room.

Locals maybe, 'English' no.

If they wear an Everton shirt it doesn't matter where they're from.

You think he actually did it?

Man alive, you're driving GOT traffic tonight, and I'm guilty for going along.
No mate, hes right, its a farce, he ripped the tactics board down and he put on it in big black marker GET MCOIST SOME TICKETS.

No wonder we got beat, I want him sacked before midnight, ive never seen anything like in all my years.

Moyes was asked in an interview, or maybe it was the press conference, does he have a favourite memory of the merseyside derby, his response: none that come to mind (you'd have thought the 3-0 Andy Johnson game would be memorable). For me, that says everything. The derby just doesn't mean enough to him, it's just another game. And that's probably why his record is so crap against them

35 minutes to kick off and he says to McCoist "I'll sort that out for you" - presumably tickets or a pass for McCoists entourage.

It's the derby with just over half an hour to KO and he's arsed about fixing tickets up for that irritating Glaswegian bluffer.
Check the quote, one line followed the other, it's beautiful. Makes something up and qualifies 'presumably', then runs with it as fact. Should be on tiktok or whatever platform kim kardashian is on flogging lies and making money. A calling very much missed.

It's indicative of his priorities.

Who on earth half an hour before a derby is thinking about getting that irritant McCoist sorted out with tickets or passes?

It's pathetic. It just underlines how much he rates the importance of these fixtures, probably because he cant handle the pressure of them.
