2025/26 Jordan Pickford

You need to watch other keepers, any nationality, and then compare and think again. They ALL make mistakes, do "dodgy" kicjs, etc,, but our lad does fewer
Indeed they do....I mentioned it because the post said they didn't see any fumbles from Pickford. Was merely pointing out that he had a couple of really bad kicks. One which could of cost us.

You’re playing a team like them the keeper has to show up. He didn’t and it’s just a disappointment more than anything.

His long balls also still drive me up a wall. Just make it contestable!
Me too, I can never work out if that comes from Moyes or its him, in some games he has done it, Moyes is screaming at him too stop and others he is doing it all game. It's hugely wasteful at times.

Weird thing to say. Both of their goals were actually really good well worked goals. So much so no individual errors were to blame. That’s what happens when you play a team that cost more than our club.

Pickford was fine today

Well they scored twice from 3 shots on target and one went through his legs when he stranded himself coming halfway out. To me it’s not fine.

There goals were crap and both the result of an attacker simply strolling through the middle of our two centre backs. Same against wolves.

Needs sorting or will be targeted week in week out.

Expected him to do better on the 2nd, though it’s a goal on most keepers.

Tough to knock his long kicking given who he is kicking it to.
He shouldn't be doing it full stop though, we have had games this season where Moyes has been screaming at him to stop with it, it's ale house stuff he doesn't need to do it.

Saw him play long ball for years with DCL. Now it’s Beto. That trick might yield a favourable ball and bounce once in a blue moon, but more often than not the defence doubles up the striker or it bounces out of bounds or safely into the hands of the keeper. It just gives the ball away for no reason
