Full backs are so important in football now, I remember when City went big on them and it totally transformed the team.

Looking back, both goals are really poor from Gana. Unusually reactive from him, usually far more decisive when he's defending

He’s not good enough and never has been. He was getting waltzed past in derbies in 2017. The worship of him is ridiculous, an extremely average player who is past his best.

Gana didn't track Gravenberch for the goal, then 15mins later jogged back when they hit us on the break from a corner.
This is where we will notice his legs going, looks fine in 5 yard bursts and breaking up the play but any distance needing covered he won't be able to keep up with

Yet he is frequently more advanced than Garner. Needs to sit in front of the back 4 breaking up the play but instead is just constantly in no man’s land.
