2025/26 Thierno Barry

I think there’s a big difference between first impressions and forming an opinion to be honest, and it’s fairly obvious that some people are not just talking about their first impressions.

Saying ‘I’ve not been overly impressed with him so far but it’s early days’ is fine, I’d say the same. Saying ‘he’s a dud’ is very obviously a different thing.

I think thats semantics to be honest. Saying "he looks like a dud so far" is what people clearly have in mind. We all want the lad to be a world beater!

So this:

"I'll right him off for ya! Won't make it in the Prem Lge. To fast for him and has'nt got a Strikers brain same as Beto and Moyes knows it."

Is someone 'clearly' saying he hasn't looked great so far but they have an open mind on his future development is it?

Has potential that's obvious, but we aren't in the position to wait for young players to develop. Odd signing everything considered.

We are a club is a position were we need to invest in young assets and make a future profit mate - most of our signings aren’t for right now. They are investments with the future and future to fit in mind.

Really only Grealish and KDH I think have been brought in with the expectation of hitting the ground running right now. If the younger ones contribute well and good, but I think we will see a gentle easing of those players and minimum expectation.

In an ideal world yes,but our squad is so thin,I mean who'd have thought we could be going into the Derby at the pit with possibly a right footed midfielder playing left back. This season should have been one of consolidation, spending money on youngsters with potential rather than experienced players at cheaper prices might just bite us in the arse.
