From the OS:
"First up for the young Blues, they travel to take on Tamworth on Tuesday evening (7.45pm BST) in the National League Cup.

It’s their second game of the competition following a 2-1 victory at Solihull Moors last month, when a late Braiden Graham brace helped the Toffees to claim the win in a comeback victory."

is he dead?

The younger keepers are thought of more highly than the likes of Crellin, so Moyes wants to give them time with the best coaches.
Not sure what point you're making here. If Tyrer is one of the "younger keepers" that you're talking about, I'm not sure that makes too much sense given that he's out of contract in the summer and is in the same 4th choice role that Crellin and Leban had over the last 2 seasons (2 goalies clearly not rated by the club as they both left on frees).

And if the "younger keepers" you're talking about are maybe Pickford and Lukjanciks then wouldn't it be better to get Tyrer out on loan and out of their way?

Sorry, I didn't articulate myself well. If you look at the U21 squad, George Pickford has started, with Barnsley on the bench until loaned to Marine.

These two players are thought particularly highly by the club, more so than the likes of Crellin and Tyrer. The latter released and Tyrer pushed up.

This isn't a positive for Tyrer however, because he knows he won't be staying; George Pickford and Barnsley* are getting the focus from the coaches.

People like Aaron Cameron (one of the coaches) are putting a lot of effort into the two. *still training with Everton
