Its not ‘cut and dried’. My son and I have memberships but no tiktoks…He has a point though. If you really want to go, buy a membership. It’s the cost of a few dishes from the Chinese takeaway these days. If you don’t want to pay on principle, then miss out and don’t go. It’s as cut and dried as that really.
It absolutely IS cut and dried. Buy a membership, and you’ll get to a game. Don’t buy one, and you won’t! How can it be anymore simple? You may not be successful in the ballot, but even the bottom membership gives you access to the resale platform. You may not get to sit where you’d ideally like, but you’ll get tickets to watch a game via that route. There may not be any available on the resale platform at the time you log on and have a look, but keep preserving throughout the day and you’ll end up getting them. Its not ‘cut and dried’. For example, there are seats in 206 and 207 at the moment for the West Ham game.It absolutely IS cut and dried. Buy a membership, and you’ll get to a game. Don’t buy one, and you won’t! I have a Hill Dickinson Stadium tour booked for next Sunday. A treat for myself and my grandson, does anyone know if there is official parking onsite.
They need to sort the Budweiser animations on the digital hoardings. Says all around the ground the Bud is blue and then its red over all the digital hoarding.
Can we contact Budweiser please @Goat ?
Just on this, I wonder if there's a minimum age where a member won't be allowed to buy a single ticket. Im guessing not.My grandson (14) has a Foreverblue membership,
Never got a ticket in the ballots but went on the official site on Saturday at 11am an got a ticket for the south stand,
Cocked the payment part up and went back in and got a ticket in the east stand £25 junior.
Single seats all round the ground available.
Pretty much what we do. Sat was the Ship and Excelsior then walked to the Windy and afterwards Windy/Murphys then back to the Blue Mile. Always used to see your neighbour before and after Goodison games, looks like he's following the trail again. My routine is pretty much there. Train into Moorfields, walk down to the Invisible Wind Factory. 2 pints in there. Intonthw ground. Avoid the toilets central to the upper south at ALL costs at half time.
Leave centrally after the game, straight out no messing, pint in IWF again, with a bit of live music, then back to Moorfields and out. The walking is about the ame as I used to do at Goodison.
I hope everybody gets their days sorted out.
I did avoid the Mansfield game though, as I wasnt sure about the whole getting home at night thing....
Totally agree regarding the Upper SW concourse. From the bottom step at 207 is mayhem at HT, either squeezing through the throngs to get to the massive queues at the toilets or trying to get through to a quieter part. I wasn’t expecting that TBH, given the size of the place…The upper SW concourse is a real pinch point. The queues for the food place should be directed by barriers away from the bowl entrances/exits and toilets as it's just causing mayhem. There is space towards the West as well that should be better utilised such as the retail unit (closed on Sat) that shouldreally be an ebar. Unfortunatly because of the hospitality this side doesn't get the option of an East side with the space and ebar/walkthrough choices that are over there. That said, if you get through the crowds in the corner to the south bar with the view I've found it ridiculously easy to get served.
The bogs though are pretty inadequate, loads of wasted space and urinals that should really be troughs not individually stylised. Even if you walk round in either direction it's barely any better in the adjoining toilets.
I suspect it will settle down more as people get used to their surroundings but there's definitly simple adjustents that can be made.
