Yep, first time I put ours on last year it made a whirring noise and died.

Was only a motor, but still cost me 300 notes.

Never a cheap fix.

I’d have it on in the middle of summer if I’m cold.

I don’t get why some people feel the need to wait for some arbitrary part of the year for it.

It’s not arbitrary, not sure if you noticed but there is a cost of living crisis going on or are you being intentionally tone deaf?

Once I make that first adjustment to the heating there's no going back, thats why I dont jump this early in the year. Tho unless its just me, this feels a hell of a lot colder then previous septembers..

It's 'cos we've had the sunniest Spring on record and multiple heatwaves over summer. So the contrast amplifies the perceived chill.
