6 + 2 Point Deductions

I may have missed something, but how is it our problem that the Premier League didn't punish us in the season that Burnley exploded like ratbags and got releg8ed?

Did we hide something material from the Premier League during that season that meant our case and punishment were deferred?

Thinking on, if the Premier League throw the book at us (again), does this set a dangerous precedent vis-a-vis their case against Man City?
I guess they must think they have a case. I don't really see how. But what do I know?

Surely their case should be against the Premier League and not us?

Can every team who finished below, got knocked out of, or came runner up in cup competitions to Chelsea for the past 20 years now start making claims against them too?
You'd think so but they must think they have some kind of case. Must be impossible to prove they would have stayed up. Can't even remember what we did wrong tbh. Or who we signed.

Because what case could Burnley bring against the PL?
The case that the punishment the PL imposed on Everton didn't reflect the season that PSR was breached and therefore contributed to them getting relegated?
I've no idea what case they could take against Everton. And if there is one, can forest be sued. Can Chelsea and City?
Can one club sue another for a poor VAR decission that costs PL places and the millions that come with it.
These clubs are all memebers of a league, a league that specifically broke away from the football league for more self determination.
They all signed up to the rules. You get your chance to argue your corner against the league. Everton did that poorly and lost.
Arguing that case against other clubs who dont control any punishment is mad.

So they are suing us? Yeah not sure how the PL failure to deduct points the season before is our problem and not between Burnley and the PL. We have received our punishment. Hope we smash them home and away on their way to another relegation.
