2025/26 Tyler Dibling

Absolutely nothing wrong in our build up play yesterday.

The problem is we don't have any quality at CF.

I just wonder if Moyes would be tempted to play Illy up top and then bring in either Dibling or Alcaraz
Although he has the quality, I think if you move Illy up top then we'll lose more of his all round attributes than what we gain from him playing that central role..

Illy does have a problem getting his head up, though. He might be better suited to playing that central striker role with Dibling on the wing and with greater awareness. But I think we'd lose width due to Dibling wanting to cut inside all the time.

Dibling gave LFC an absolutely torrid time when playing for Saints last year.

Just feels good to be able to debate between 2 quality players ( well, one that will soon be on the way of claiming that term )

Having players adequate enough to come in and not downgrade the team, means players like grealish, Ndiaye can actually be rested at times, instead of running them into the ground and picking up injuries..

It's nice having selection problems, innit?

But I miss the simpler times of the only option being Jack Harrison. He was rubbish. But we had nobody else. We knew where we stood.
