2025/26 Michael Keane

Ol' 50p 'ead has come good again... should def keep his place on this form. Be very harsh to drop him at the moment.

Harsh but Branthwaite is one of the best defenders in the league, you don’t keep him on the bench

And jb and Tarkowski have a great partnership

Keane is here on a one year contract as back up. He knows his role once Jarrad is fit

When Branthwaite is fit - ‘a few weeks yet’ according to Moyes - Keane will be dropped to make way for him. That’d be a mistake in my book. Keane has palpably out performed Tarkowski so far, and I’d be dropping Tarks not MK.

Well, if Branthwaite were fit tomorrow, then Keane would have to make way (arguably rightly) for him. If it's really a few weeks, and Tarkowski is wobbly during that period, while Keane continues on good form, then surely it's fair (and better for team results) for Tarkowski to be dropped?

Id have to admit he'd find himself unlucky to be dropped when Jarred is back.

But that's the nature of the beast.

His performances have taken the pressure off us massively.

And am his biggest critic.
There’s a few who need to repent for their sins tbh.

The amount of unnecessary hyperbole in the summer about him signing a 1 year extension was hilarious.

Brother make no mistake...I still want him gone,I'd still rather have replaced him this summer.

But as it stands he's performed very well.

Am not that type of poster not to give credit where it's due.

Never. Been crap for 8 years, having 4 weeks in the sun. And by God they've been beautiful sunny days. I'll say one thing though, it sure helps having a steady midfield that holds onto the ball and puts him under less pressure. But im very happy to see him playing as well as we know he can.
