New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

First visit (just got back late last night): walked from the ferry terminal along the river and then over the bridge. Got through the dock wall early with no problem, steward waved a wand over me and got me to produce my glasses case and keys. Had a quick look around and then joined the queue for the turnstiles. Probably waited 15 minutes until they opened and by that time the line behind me was pretty massive (they'd sell more food and drink if they opened the turnstiles once non-premium fans are allowed through the wall). Once the turnstiles were open it worked like clockwork. Got a pint of Camden Stout from the South Upper bar with masses of staff ready to serve and had a wander through East to the NE corner. Lots of people seemed to be queuing for food and drink in East when you could just walk up to the bars in South Upper.

Half-time was another matter for food, drink and toilets.

View from the seat in the SW Upper from resale was stunning and I thought the noise was better overall than many of the Goodison matches I've been to. The sound really wells up from the south and helps get people involved. North was also getting into it. I didn't feel there were any of those Goodison 'silences' where people are just grumbling to each other. No problems with the rain during the match. Getting out was a bit of a faff and Bramley Moore Hotel was mobbed with 'one-out one-in' on the door.

Good to put some faces to names post-match as well!

What did you get for your money mate?
A cracking view first and foremost. Free bar from midday, a food token for one food item, I went for the pizza, and free programme. Definitely pricey, but it was a fluid experience and professionally run. Staff polite, friendly and very helpful.

One of the big selling points here is being able to buy a guaranteed ticket in a plum seat without entering the lottery of a ballot where you may or may not be successful. Doing it this way, I could sort out my hotel and train ticket with confidence once I also knew the game wasn’t going to be moved for TV.

The guy in charge of the buses kept telling us they were just around the corner and would be there soon.

To be honest, if the police could have actually done some traffic management, the ten buses on the circuit could have efficiently moved people.

Should have hopped to Liverpool One, would have been quicker.

Not as though the council have known this would happen and have seemingly done nothing.
Exactly this. The gridlock at Leeds St. was ridiculous with people driving from up The Strand blocking the buses. Police always stay well away from traffic management . A 4-way junction where I live nearly always has a police car sat there but when the traffic lights fail the police disappear.

Did anyone get a receipt when using the Aramark walk-through kiosk? I've queried the overcharge with them and they're asking to see a receipt!
Wtf, you just scan your payment card, it opens the gate, grab something then walk out, I didn't see anywhere for a receipt to come out?

I was referring to the TV by his seat that @BullensRoad shared - he's said loads he's in Village on here so I figured I was mistaken and it was posher than I thought.

Agree on the rest - it's why I didn't bother. I thought Village (both) was too expensive so was relieved/glad when Club View become available later. Relieved managed to get it on my tenure. Side of pitch view - I'm bang on half way line. For £53 after you spend your tenner.

So in between all the moaning about queues/unable to get served - which is a bit crap, Id still renew and wouldn't change to anywhere else.
I’m in CV also, row 57 about 12 yds from half way line, it was the closest to the half way line I could get by the time my purchase window opened, I’ve just worked out I’m paying £33 ish per game after taking food credit and program off, it helps that I moved in to seniors price bracket this year.
I won’t be moving anywhere else soon, the only thing I would change is to try and move down a few rows, but that’s being really picky.

There were videos explaining how it works a few weeks ago, they demonstrated how to get a receipt involving a “switch/button” on the wall where you exit.
