….daughter, son-in-law and two of our grandkids joined us here on holiday in Kos yesterday. Great hotel facilities, just took 3m year old Harry bedecked in his Everton kit to the footy pitch and stuck a few in the top corner like the old days.

Trouble is, I forgot I turned 69 yesterday and my right groin popped. I’m now totally walking in 2nd gear, no more footy practice with Harry

My house here in the USA was built in 1929 (Amazingly it survived those wartime air raids) it has one of these down in the basement, its a smart idea because whatever you are doing with the small appliance, you have the best light in the house to do it under!

I have a feeleing that a former owner liked a bit of huntin' and used to dress his victims down there. Evidenced by the cast concrete sink, also with a light above it.
