I’d actually like to see Ndiaye play central with Dibbling on the right and hit them on the break. I don’t see the point in playing either in this game personally. Beto can’t hold it up, he’s not an out ball and we’ve not seen enough of Barry really so I’d like to try something different. If it works we can go with it. On paper it’s far more exciting.
Out of the two though , I’d say Beto.

Beto terrored Van Djik last time, you could see how relieved he was when the ref booked Beto meaning he'd have to ease off a bit. Would definitely start him next week.

I think we saw why Barry isn't starting yet when he was waiting to come on. Moyes was gesturing to him and Barry was looking non-plussed so clearly day to day communication is still an issue.

Beto, not that he's any better just that he has scored this season and has twice given Liverpool's centre halves a very hard time the last times we've played them. Barry dare I say it looked a little disinterested when he came on yesterday.

I did not expect Villa to play that passively. Barry might have been the better choice yesterday. Even then I think our creative scheme will need some work. Definitely need someone to either show they can dribble through the middle and cause havoc or somebody to make a decisive pass. Grealish can't be the only one. The sooner we bring in actual fullbacks as well the better.

Neither of them impress me but given that we are likely to adopt a physical approach next Saturday I'd go with Beto .

However , medium to long term Beto isn't the answer. Haven't seen enough of Barry to decide if he is.

Personally in matches following the derby I'd play N'daye up top and get Dibling into the team.

Beto needs to bounce back after a shocker, he did after Leeds in which he was also nowhere near at it, so let’s hope for that.
He has scored twice already this season and bullied the arrogant myth of an CB over the park last derby so Beto starts for me.
