2025/26 David Moyes

He's probably like Aznou: not a Moyes choice so he keeps him under wraps until all else fails.

That's the sort of manager he is: glacial in his decision making and stubborn about wanting maximum control over everything.
He saved us last year no doubts about it - but it was clear we needed two very good full backs as signings & he never did that - money lashed out on a rookie no9 & a winger who we have not even seen as yet ?

Absolutely spot on.

...and you know that he'll go to Anfield with a plan not to be beaten...by too much.

And Wolves away in the LC will be difficult despite their current woes. It's very difficult to do the double in a short space of time against another PL club no matter what form they're in - especially given they're at home.
We went at them in both games last season and should have won both of them barring a dodgy offside for them and Beto being a mm offside and then hitting the post for us.

Give up your agenda driven nonsense.

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Hate this type of post, frankly it's garbage. Any game and the way the manager deals with in game management is fair game for discussion/criticism. The manager made a couple of like for like swaps and sat on his hands. He made no attacking substitutions against a Villa team who offered pretty much zero attacking threat. If your defence for this approach is simply it was better than last season then I'd say you need a reality check.
I didn't mention game management, but talking about that, with that Villa team not producing much in attacking terms yesterday but still had the ability to turn a game in an intance, what changes would you have made?

I thought Rohl when he came on did well.
Barry not so good and Villa were not as worried about him compared to Beto

i Would have brought Alcarez in for KDH and Dibling for Iliman with 20 to go. I think Iliman was tired and Alcarez is a little more creative with fresh Legs. Once Rohl was in next to Idrissa we were more stable and could sacrifice a little defensive solidity of KDH.

He is what he is: a bread and butter old school manager who'll never be adventurous.

People seem to want that. 🤷‍♂️
And yet. I can now watch Everton without my eyes bleeding and I mean from the second half of last season ,unlike having to watch them under Benitez or Dyche, both of whom you gave far more support to than you have to Moyes. You wanted to replace him with Southgate a matter of days after he arrived.

I don't think he our man long term, but, even before we got our signings this summer, the football and the atmosphere around the club improved tremendously. Never change Dave, keep supporting every Everton manager, I'm sure Moyes values your opinion.

He's a dullard. Sorry, I dont make him that, he does.

A dullard that has us 2 points off 2nd.

But sure, lets sack him and get Dyche back so we can "get our Everton back".

Ha Ha.

4 goes in and you're talking about 2 points off 2nd.

Stick to telling fibs about how many games he's lost since last season...
