2025/26 Dwight McNeil


Find it hard to see the lad being here after january if honest can see him wanting the move now. Is at an age when will want to be starting games and is pretty low down in the list now starting

Anyone looking to the bench today wasn't screaming for Mcneil to come on. I was very surprised he didn't go in August. The longer he stays the more I think his value diminishes.

Interested to see what value we do put on him, has done a good job here so would like to think get a decent price

There's been enough moments for us to hopefully get as much as we paid for him, but in all honesty I think he's a really poor player for this level. Under Dyche, everything went through McNeil and he it was to the detriment of the team. Enabled him to bag a few goals but made us look really poor in attack overall.
 

He's definitely a confidence player, and i think the lack of minutes will gradually eat away at that confidence, probably more than most of the lads..

He has done really well for us and produced when needed so I'd hate to see fans turn on him just for being a squad player.

If only he had the pace and proper defensive attributes to his game, he could have made a great wing back with that left peg on him..

I think he can still do a job at this level ut problem is what team does his profile fit is very one paced. And i think has it in him with an attacking fb to be able to cut inside a have shots at gaol becuase has a good shot on him and a good cross. Just doesnt really fit the profile pf what teams want now in wingers being able play both sides and have pace. Is a player ike doucoure for me will thank them for the time and moments at the club, but as a team we have moved on
