It’s night and day from Everton under Dyche and we have made strides in the team and progressed.

There’s going to be ups and downs, but we are moving in the right direction and that’s what matters.

Don't think we did anything wrong. Villa parked hard. We do not have a fully functioning fullback game. Grealish is the only one that can consistently cross and playmake and we don't have any penetration in the middle with KDH. He helps us control games. It needs to be said but he is not much of a playmaker for us yet and isn't much of a dribbler. Problem with relying on Grealish is it gives teams enough time to pack the side and close all the gaps. At this point we are too predictable. Maybe we get another option at some point in Dibling that can help but we will need to find a solution to be more effective in these games. We are [Poor language removed] outta luck on fullbacks atm and that won't change. Have to find it centrally.

Grealish becomes 100% more lethal if we have an overlapping LB.

It's painful to watch opposition players doubling up or tripling up on him and he has to try and weave through them or just lay the ball off.

I actually think Garner could get up there and do that but Moyes is such a conservative manager he wont ever let that happen in case we get caught without the ball.

Grealish can pick out a magic pass even with pressure and a packed box, but boy it is that much harder. When the ball stops because he has no overlap or we are too slow to get a cross in nobody gets to run onto the ball and attack it. We are just stationary which is not how you want to be.

that’s the only achilles heel this season a good striker - so we need more goals from mf

Yes, and if I was Grealish I'd be getting really tired of that really fast.

Today we were beating our head against a brick wall. Sometimes that happens when you get a team that sits off, but we're not putting them on the rack and asking them different questions throughout the game when we have them pinned to their own 18 yard box. You have to mix up your attacking approach and we didn't do that.

I’m trying to answer this question fairly, under Dyche it was so bad and under Moyes there has been little to complain about! We have progressed. Even if people are bothered about Moyes not changing things enough, his tactics today was enough to win the game, what let us down was the finishing of Beto and a top class keeper.

You still haven’t told me how Moyes could have done things differently today?? You could just continue to be a massive tool, that’s ok to will just confirm for me your just on the wind up!

We can play with 3 at the back and push a RWB or LWB higher up to join in.
