Good game but hugely frustrating, Villa’s game plan seemed to be kick us off the park and take cheap fouls at times. Some poor finishing on our part as well

Positives to take though, another home clean sheet, we look a world away from the Leeds game and solid debut cameo from Rohl

Controlled the game in the most part, thought the subs were too late and too few.

Ref was worse than any other so far this season, which is pretty condemning.

Moyes had the chance to throw a couple more useful subs on in the last 15 minutes but didn't which is his usual way of doing things rather than going for it. Like the look of Merlin very composed on the ball and picked out Barry with a perfect pass.

That early chance goes in, we’re probably 2 or 3 up after 60 and we see him. Moyes clearly doesn’t fancy him defensively so trying to cherry pick moments for him.

Wolves’ second goal scuppered him the other week, and the urge to keep what we held stopped him today.
