I’m not moving goal posts at all, I was covering my back, if I mention anything about DCL the Beto fanboys come at me. DCL Is clearly a better footballer, but that season was the anomaly, unfortunately, so I had to throw in the line that he wasn’t good enough.

DCL is not a better footballer , I think they’re both pretty bad as far as touch is concerned etc

But Beto gets past people when running and can power past someone , DCL can’t , Beto can finish one on one , DCL can’t , Beto can stay fit DCL can’t , Beto can carry the ball better than DCL..

DCL used to be a great athlete , but has always been found lacking when if comes to technical ability and finishing .. he’s ended up at Leeds and will stink the place out there

DCL is better than Beto and DCL wasn’t good enough for Everton, so start there. I’m not a scout. Forest signed Chris Wood from Burnley, now despite your nonsense, he’s not a £70m striker, but he’s clearly better than Beto as well.

As said, I’d love Beto to tuck 20 goals this season, but we all know he will do well to get half that, in the meantime I worry about the damage he will do to our results given his atrocious hold up play and given he will be our main solo striker until Jan at least.

I’m putting myself in a position of no win here, if he stinks the place out vs Villa and we lose then I won’t take any joy in that, but I’m sure I’ll be tagged if we win and he plays a pivotal role. Let’s see how this plays out as there’s nothing that can be done now.

Beto’s gotten himself into good positions today. It’s his first touch that’s hurting us. He’s got the soft touch of a brick wall. I’d like to see Barry come in earlier than 60’.

If he had good first touch, he wouldn't be playing for us...he does good things and bad things...I am guessing Barry will come on around the 60th minute.
