think we look a lot weaker in the middle with Tim. So much so I think the overall result will depend on if he’s on it today or not. Villa are a good team despite recent results

Yeah, I actually like Tim too, he has a lot to like, but his positional play is poor. Losing Garner from midfield to play at LB is one thing, but we do have an LB on the bench, even if he is raw. It then seems odd to have a CB at RB too (even though he always plays there for us) when we have 2 RBs on the bench. A lot of square pegs in round holes.

Would have preferred Röhl over Tim given all the other changes. Still, lot of options off the bench if it isn't working. As long as Moyes is proactive, if it isn't, we should be fine.

It’s a fairly good bench compared to what we have had over the last couple of seasons.

McNeil, Alcaraz, and Dibling all on the bench is crazy. For most of the recent past any one of them would have been the most creative player in the side and would have been the first name on the team sheet- and often we didn’t even have anyone that good.
