To be fair, this is a live or die by that selection kind of match.

He's obviously decided the newbies, in general, need to earn their places. Fair enough. But that's a lot of money sitting on that bench, perhaps too much given our overall resources. He'll need the starters he was faithful to today to pay him back for his loyalty.

It feels like that, but didn’t he start 35 PL games last season? 7 more than Branthwaite who is currently crocked.

No idea but he seems to be made from glass at times, Moyes said he wanted more robust players at the end of last season and you wouldn't put Mykolenko in that category atm.

He just can't stay fit, I'm not convinced we should be offering him another contract tbh, we need an alternative, a proper ready to go one.

Definitely shouldn't be extending. We need better. New Everton, new standards.
