Was this on FIFA?he played last night in a 7-5 win v Germany & scored .....
Give it a rest mate , you just keep repeating yourself over and over, including admitting you’ve seen very little of Armstrong. It’s pretty simple really , as the many who follow our Academy will tell you. In the past ten years we’ve had three players come through our Academy who’ve played 50 games for Everton , Kenny, Davies, Gordon, out of over 100 Scholars , so a success rate of 3%. If you said “ he’s not going to make it “ about every 17/18 year old you’d be right 97% of the time. It’s really the easiest way to do it, just be negative. This is what I’m pushing back on. Rodwell, Gordon, Barkley, Rooney, Jeffers, even Branch and Cadamaterie, they all showed something in the premier league before people got carried away. HA has shown very little and people are going all in on him. It’s like a young lad dancing with a girl for the first time and wanting to marry her.
Thanks mate. Put me on ignore if you don't want to read my posts rather than telling me what I can and can't say.Give it a rest mate , you just keep repeating yourself over and over, including admitting you’ve seen very little of Armstrong. Nobody has said, as far as I’m aware, that he should be playing in the PL every game this season, few are that idiotic if so ignore them. If you’ve watched enough of these youngsters over the past 10 years, which is more relevant than harping backs to the like of Cademateri, you pick up early the traits, habits, skills, criteria etc that make the difference in the modern game between the successful and those who end up like the 97% who don’t make it. Some of boxes are playing up an age early, good physical size , playing successfully for England youth teams, ability to follow a managers instructions and perhaps more importantly temperament and the desire to improve yourself . Armstrong has all of these, and at the same age is ahead of Kenny, Davies and Gordon if you compare playing minutes at Pl/EFL. Only Gordon in recent years has shown a greater desire for self improvement than Armstrong.
If you haven’t seen enough of him to make an opinion that’s fair enough, but stop being obsessed with a few outliers who maybe say he should be starting every game for us in the PL this season. I don’t know if Harrison will play 50 games for Everton, fate , injuries etc come into play. But I can say he’s the most exciting prospect we’ve had since Gordon and I believe will surpass Kenny and Davies levels and hopefully reach Gordon’s level.
He’s likely confused with England u17s 7-5 win against Germany in which two of our promising players were involved. Was this on FIFA?
Ah thanks, nope I don’t put people on ignore , but it confirms what others have said about you. Thanks mate. Put me on ignore if you don't want to read my posts rather than telling me what I can and can't say.
You can’t tell people what to doThanks mate. Put me on ignore if you don't want to read my posts rather than telling me what I can and can't say.
Armstrong on at 61 mins for Alfie Devine, right of 3 CMs. 1-0 up at the time from a Dobbin goal, Middlesbrough just equalising at 61 mins, nothing significant from Armstrong yet. Middlesbrough look a decent team
No probs, I'll put you on ignore instead so I don't have to listen to your bleating.Ah thanks, nope I don’t put people on ignore , but it confirms what others have said about you.
I can and I will. Whether they do as I say is up to them. You can’t tell people what to do![]()
