6 + 2 Point Deductions

The immediate points deduction must be lost in the post...
Thing is what they said about us saying fine wouldnt be valid why would any other punishment be for then. A transfer ban already have far to many players, fine have rich owners. Will be the same as city the so called structure found us gulity will not be the same punishment. Not saying everton was a target as the people running the club at the time put us in that position. And the state of the club was a perfect storm and a perfect target.

The PL apparently have a separate investigation ongoing into financial irregularities.

How can our an Forests case be dealt with so quickly and Chelsea and City take years. ]

Time for the Independent regulator to step in.
Just perfect timing to quiet voices at the time so could look like in control and everton was the perfect club for them to punish. Big enough name and well a mess being run as a club. Likes of chelsea city have enough money keep them busy for years even tho chelsea have admitted guilt

I thought the premier league said financial punishments weren’t really a punishment because the owners of footy clubs are billionaires?
Dont see how any other punishment is fair a fine, transfer ban wont make any difference at all. Got a sporting advantage getting some of these players, just pathetic from the media again while all was happy for us to get a point deduction

It's ridiculous it's like they get rewarded for committing copious infractions over an extended period of time because it drags out the investigation and by the time a verdict is possibly reached , a clever team of lawyers could make the case that retroactive punishment isnt fair to the fans or some other put on rationale to lessen the charges.

we're paying over 200k of Grealish's wages supposedly
We won't be paying that as there will be other players who have clauses saying they get pay related to our top earners etc.

I think we'll have probably paid a lump to City so they're paying him 200k (us covering it or the majority of it out of that sum) and we're paying him circa 100k a week so he's getting the same wage and we're retaining our pay structure.

It was reported that we aren't paying him a salary at all. We paid City £12m and then city pay his weekly wage of £230k a week which happens to add up to £12m over the year. So I guess we are paying him £230k a week, just indirectly. It's all just semantics and accountancy.
