2025/26 Harrison Armstrong

The contract was probably crap , but hey let's have 3 keeper's 2 on the bench in the past !

….best giving up on this subject, Joey ;).

Everton reeling because a player who turned down a contract offer and left to get regular football turns out to be decent. Should have kept him with a good old headlock.
Exactly.. Had he stayed here and not got as many minutes he kept l may have flopped. Moyes has already said he can't give Harrison the minutes he needs to develop. So another loan is perfect, then a starter next season perhaps.

Should have improved his contract instead of an old past it keeper more like - WBA have just paid £ 2.5 million for him - no need to put an headlock on him - just an improved contract at that time it would have cost no where near £ 2.5 million ....

Maybe the money wasn't the issue? I wouldn't be surprised the contract he signed for Liege was less than what we offered him. Fair play to the lad for leaving for a chance of regular first team football.

Wh the hell knows the way we do not utilise any youngster may more be likely the main reason .... anyway 2.5 million & rising threw away , but yes lets have a old 3rd keeper ... & 2 on the bench for the last few seasons hey ho ....

We`ve been through this before Joey.

He`d had a lot of injuries, went on loan to Boltonto get his fitness back and then signed full time at Wigan, as he was guaranteed game time there, where as he wasn`t with us.
Oh & our present left back hardly suffers with injuries does he - sorry Harrison Armstrong should have made our squad this season - if your good enough you get in the squad - age should not come into it IMO - a season around the first team etc IMO would have fetched him on more as a player than a kick about at Preston NE -
Captain of the England under 19 team - I tell you a fact the other lot would have not sent him out on loan - end of -

they have another younster younger they have kept him to play cameo roles etc - Harrison Armstrong would have learnt more here !

Every team lets players go, that end up eventually doing well Joey, it`s not just us, it`s just the way things are.

Man City let Cole Plamer go for the exact same reasons that we let Robinson go, it`s just the way it is.

We`ve let far more duds go early doors, than players who`ve gone onto to great things.

Isaac Price has done well no doubt, however I doubt if he is a player we are looking at in any way to bring back to the club.

I saw Lookman being mentioned as well as someone who got away, however I don't think he was never involved in any way with our academy and my memory was that he was pushing to leave.
We chased him down & paid £4-5 million to beat other top clubs for him as a promising youngster - he most definitely played in the youth system as we signed him as a youth player with other big clubs in for him ....

We were struggling to get a bench for the last few seasons - It should not be the case now & we should never have two keepers on the bench this season ....

No they’d have sold him to Brentford or Bournemouth for £30-40m
