Everton Youth Teams Thread

Douglass Lukjanciks was an unused sub in England's U19 4-1 over the Netherlands.

Interesting. Armstrong wasn't captain this time, instead Chris Rigg got the armband.

Our two boys came on at half-time.

I hate to see lads sliding on there knees its the most important part of your body if you play football.About 12years ago i was in a pub near me called Nags Head having a meal ,when this old guy came in on two sticks. Not just resting on them but swinging on them then i recognised it was Tommy Smith ,it just shows how important your knees are in later life, and should not be abused.

Yeh it's a mad celebration. Maybe on a soaking pristine pitch you get away with it but why risk it. Only takes one bad pitch and your knee cap is elsewhere.

….my first thought watching that game. I know it looked like rain had gotten into the surface but if there isn’t any give in the turf, then it could result in serious injury.
