That's a matter of perspective, we aren't talking about a Leicester or a Blackburn here, when it goes tit's up he can point to that glorious 7th place finish if he likes, he might just hear you applauding at the back.

I have a good perspective on Forest, perhaps more than you. I mean, I go to Forest matches, have family who support them and have for nearly 20 years.

That allows me some direct insight into their progress.

Perspective is very clear - Marinakis arrived here;

.... to Premier League Football, Wembley and European Football.

"but, but, but, he ran on the pitch and I don't like him"

... I'm not sure you knew he'd been there as long as he has, nor the progress of the club in that time.

I was foolishly under the impression that I'd noticed the rise of Forest. Thanks for putting me in my place.

In my view, he's delivered sustained success already - approaching a decade and Forest will be in a much better place than he inherited.

He's bumping off the ceiling, is my point.

We'll see what his expectations are by what position Forest are in when he pulls the trigger on Ange.

I still don't understand your point, which is why I assumed you misunderstood.

What does bumping off the ceiling mean?

I've said he's done very well at Forest, and you began talking about sustained success in the Premier League and trigger happy ownership.

Got to admit the site owner going in to bat so relentlessly and aggressively for Nottingham Forest was not on my GOT 2025 bingo card.

Cringe.

Grasses, scabs and cheats running a Ponzi scheme with owners of clubs in Brazil imo. Simply everything wrong with modern football.

Yes.

You can dislike him, and I do.

But to dispute the below, the bold, with "NO CONTEXT", is, well, silly. When you review where they were, and where they now are.

That owner's decisions have got them promoted, and in Europe.

At some point you just have to accept that maybe he knows what he's doing.

Maybe.

Wheels fly off for all managers at some point, perhaps none more so than Nuno Santo/Wolves.

After Everton, Forest are the only team I really keep a close eye on as inlaws are all Forest fans.

They didnt want Cooper. He got them promoted. First time in 20+ years.
They didn't want Cooper sacked, and Nuno Santo replacing him. Qualified for Europe.

So yeah, while we can point and laugh at their owner as being off his rocket, looking forward to when it all goes tits up - at some point you have to also nod at the outcome.

Under him, Forest are in Europe, and appointing a manager who just won a European cup.
