2025/26 Merlin Röhl

Anyone else think that this "finch farm mole" is now just a figment of their imagination after they're rooted it out?

They can say random stuff like this and it can never be proven one way or the other

"Our finch farm mole confirms that Grealish had Caesar salad on Wednesday 🙏🏻"
After Moyes successfully perfromed operation winkle at the end of the transfer window he will not be happy with these whispers

Think we'd be nuts to sell him myself. He's a great player off the pitch and usually is impactful with few minutes.
My theory with him is that he would suit a poor side whose strategy is to sit in and counter attack because TBF to him, he's very good in transition.

My issue with him is that I don't think he looks after the ball very well and in a team like the one we've started to construct where we are a little bit cleverer with the ball around the box, I'm not sure he's a great fit. But - we needed numbers and the price was a sensible one, so I think buying him was the right decision. I don't even have a problem keeping him, provided he's happy to sit on the bench.

This will be us againt quite a few sides still though.

Not sure I like training rumours. I remember when there was a rumour Myko was gash in training and big dunc allegedly said "he isn't a premier league footballer". Leave it to what they do in games.
He wasn't wrong though. He was very underwhelming when he first came into the team. He's just about ok now but an area we should look to improve.

I remember watching that game against Hull thinking ''wtf have we signed here''. So used to having Baines/Digne in the prior 15 years, then we had a lad starting at left back who looked like he'd won an award

Cheers Rafael
