Don’t read too much into it. It’s getting your best players on the field and nothing more than that.

Because when look at most of the top teams have attacking fb, i rate obrien and feel is a good option to have in away games at rb. But when at home and want to be on the front foot having a fb who can overlap put in quality in the box would help the wingers infront and the cf

Oh for sure. We could get a better right back. But there are quite a few positions we could improve. Apart from Branthewaite we could get centre backs who are quicker and better on the ball. We could get a left back who is better on the ball. We could get a DM who is better on the ball. We could get a better striker. RB is just one of a number of areas we could still improve and in my view the least important. We do actually have an international right back at the moment though contrary to popular belief.

Oh for sure. We could get a better right back. But there are quite a few positions we could improve. Apart from Branthewaite we could get centre backs who are quicker and better on the ball. Then well you say we have an interntional rb but he wants to play cb, then on to the others patterson has no future at the club, and no idea if coleman plays again next year. So will need another rb not only that the manager has been saying it most of this window he wanted one

For sure but it's not the priority some make it out to be. It's just one of a number of areas that can still easily be improved and not some catastrophic dereliction of duty to not address it in the window just gone as some make it out to be. If we can find Baines/Coleman level fullbacks we will shoot up the league.

Think is more frustration for me as i was happy with obrien but wanted him to get more experience as a cb this season. Is just a position like lb cover rm we have left for years. Has been short term fixes .

Or to say we have 2 back ups, one is injury prone and finished and the other one is injury prone and Moyes doesn’t fancy him.
