It can be a little slow but the cinematography is wonderful. I was supposed to be visiting with the missus this week but then we found out she was pregnant so now we're changing nappies and watching it on TV.

I watched a bangin’ episode of SpongeBob SquarePants this morning.

SpongeBob climbed on to the roof of the Krusty Klam for some reason, but couldn’t come down due to vertigo, and it was superb, possibly my most favouritest episode, yano.
 
Alien Earth, eps 4 & 5. Still enjoying it, some proper creepy goings on, although I did have a few issues with ep 5.

Has anyone noticed Ade Edmonson seems like he's slightly channeling Charles Dance in Alien 3? He's got the same cadence in his voice and delivery, some of the same mannerisms.

Also
is it just me or was that eyeball paul creature weirdly trying to help the crew during the outbreak?

I thought that with the tapping, but apparently not according to the director, it was just thinking about its own eacape. But I reckon its going to play a huge role in the last 3 episodes!!!

Plus Ade Edmondson is going to go all Terminator at the end I reckon :) Fantastic series so far!
 
So i saw the new Dexter series is somehow averaging 9.2 on IMDB, higher than any other version of the show and is the 17th highest rated show of all time, 10th if you exclude documentaries.

I find it hard to believe that a Dexter series could be that good this far down the line ? I assumed it was another money grab.

IMDB is a scam these days. It's brigaded so hard that I no longer trust anything. Everything is either a 1 or a 10 to the Internet these days.

This is survivor bias in action though. Nobody who is still watching Dexter doesn't already LOVE Dexter. Everyone who thought the first run was OK and then finished as a disaster has long dropped out and didn't watch the first attempt at a relaunch which pushed even more people away.

The top rated shows are all objectively good for what they are though, they aren't really any glaring impostors. Literally every TV show on IMDB over 9.0 is a certified banger. Just really surprising to see it rated so highly, especially as all the other dexter spinoffs and comeback shows haven't had good user ratings. Guess the only way to know is for me to watch it, but im so sick of dexter lol
